Fall Mini-Reunion: 17/18/19 October 2008. Lake Ozark Recreation Area (LORA). Jerry B. has secured us several cabins at this area which is a facility of Fort Leonard Wood's Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) department. Recent Events
The 2008 National Reunion was held in Indianapolis, IN, hosted by the Illinois Chapter, during the week of 14 to 19 July 2008. The Midwest Chapter had 14 members and guests in attendance. The reunion was a great success and enjoyed by all. During the banquet a moving, multi-media presentation was made by BG Hammond, Commander, 4th Infantry Division. The 4ID(rear) provided a Colonel staff officer who was the guest speaker, a Sergeant Major and the Color Guard. It was great to have these professional soldiers with us.
On May 17th we participated in the Armed Forces Day Parade in St. Peters. We had more attending this year and used two vehicles. Again we had absolutely great weather. It was followed by a meeting at the President and first lady's house. Great food and great comeraderie. Stay tuned for future pictures in the gallery!
